The Heresy Of Liberation Theology - Revelation 14:6 -7

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
 - Revelation 14:6 -7

Allow me to skip to the chase: the Holy Bible is no codex for Liberation Theology anymore than it is for a Health and Wealth Theology. No matter what form the heresy comes in, whether it is Black Liberation, Gay Liberation, Feminist Liberation or Liberation in general. Nowhere in the confines of the Bible can a case be made for the specific or preferential treatment of a group of people who are of a distinct race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political point of view. “For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.” - Romans 2:11-13.
As sinners, we all fall under condemnation unless we are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Only in the shadow of His cross are we liberated from our sins. Only when we call upon the name of the Lord are we forgiven and we are forgiven despite our differences. “For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” - Romans 10:11-13.
This commonality among sinners was recognized by God in Genesis 6 - “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” - Genesis 6:5-6. God found a man of His own heart in Noah, whom He saved from the ravages of the great Flood, Noah and his sons. But soon after, mankind multiplied again and found themselves in the most politically correct environment since Creation. “Now the whole earth had one language and one speech.- Genesis 11:1. One language, one speech, one culture, one nation. And what did we do with it?
“And they said, ‘Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.’” - Genesis 11:4. God saw the arrogance and pride of mankind. And so He stepped in again. “And the Lord said, ‘Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.’ So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” - Genesis 11: 6-9.  Clearly, it was God’s intent that mankind should be separated by race, ethnicity, culture, and language!
The reunification of mankind is not once again mentioned in the Holy Bible until our title verse from Revelation. It is not under any Biblical precept that man should enjoy a universal commonality except through faith in Jesus Christ! There is no specific inclusive or exclusive message within the Bible other than the union of saints at the foot of Christ’s cross!
The mere suggestion that there is a specialized or reserved Gospel for anyone based solely upon their race, language, political calling, sexual orientation, personal belief, or ethnicity is heretical, to say the least. God’s message is for all men and women, regardless of human differences. But that message is for all of us to come together in the holy name of Jesus Christ. The only authority is that of God Himself and to say or practice our faith otherwise is as great a sin as the offering of “strange fire.” God only accepts us despite our sin. At no time will God ever accept us IN OUR SIN! Be assured, unrepented sin will not go unpunished. There is no liberation for sinners outside of Jesus Christ.
